The Loughtagalla Times invites you to submit your work to our new feature, Premier Writing, where we aim to showcase the best poetry, essays, and short fiction by new and emerging Irish writers.
SUBMISSION DETAILS:
Submissions are open to writers who are Irish, or resident in Ireland. (We will make occasional exceptions to this, but mostly we are looking for homegrown writing.)
Please submit one short story, one essay, or up to three poems.
Stories and essays should be no longer than 1,500 words. Poetry should be formatted as you wish it to appear in print.
We prefer to accept new, unpublished writing. If the submitted work has been published previously, please include a publication credit.
Please also include a short biography. An accompanying photo is optional but would be appreciated.
All submissions should be sent to:
writing@loughtagallatimes.com
Please note: This is not a competition, and there is no entry fee. Premier Writing will be a regular feature, and submissions are always open.
At this time, we can only offer publication. But we believe that writers should be paid for their art, and we are working to make sure this is possible in the near future.
Many thanks, and we look forward to reading your work.
